The Delhi high court on Wednesday sought to know from news channel Aaj Tak why it wanted to telecast the recording of narco analysis conducted on Aaftab Amin Poonawala, the man accused of strangling his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar and dismembering her body.
The narco analysis test on Aaftab Amin Poonawala, who has been accused of killing live-in-partner, will not be conducted on Monday even as the process required to do it has been initiated, officials said.
As Poonawala's five-day police custody ends on Tuesday, the Delhi Police is running against time to get the test conducted.

In a statement, police also said in view of the the "deceptive nature" of responses provided by the accused, an application for conducting his narco analysis test was made and it has been approved by the court.
A senior police official said the accused Aaftab Amin Poonawala will be taken to some other places in the city besides the Chhattarpur jungle area as part of their probe into the murder.
